Coroner ID’s driver killed in Coq rollover

KAMLOOPS – The man killed when he rolled his flat-deck pickup on the Coquihalla Highway south of Kamloops earlier this week has been identified.

Dustin Raymond Descoteau, 29, of Chemainus was pronounced dead at the scene about 4 km south of the Inks Lake exit on Highway 5 at 11 p.m. on Sept. 25.

The truck rolled down an embankment.

Descoteau was the only one in the truck.

Both the B.C. Coroners Service and the RCMP continue to investigate.
