Canadian Natural Resources Ltd. (TSX:CNQ). Energy. Down three cents, or 0.04 per cent, to $72.39 on 18.5 million shares.

Barrick Gold Corp. (TSX:ABX). Materials. Down 34 cents, or 1.60 per cent, to $20.86 on 8.3 million shares.

Suncor Energy Inc. (TSX:SU). Energy. Down 30 cents, or 0.70 per cent, to $42.39 on 8.0 million shares.

Fortis Inc. (TSX:FTS). Utilities. Up 28 cents, or 0.47 per cent, to $60.32 on 6.3 million shares.

Auxly Cannabis Group Inc. (TSX:XLY). Health care. Down half a cent, or 7.1 per cent, to seven cents on 5.4 million shares.

Athabasca Oil Corp. (TSX:ATH). Energy. Down six cents, or 2.36 per cent, to $2.48 on 5.3 million shares.

BCE Inc. (TSX:BCE) Up63 cents, or 0.93 per cent, to $66.04 — The parent company of CTV News says it will launch a workplace review conducted by an independent party amid criticism of Lisa LaFlamme’s dismissal from her role as chief anchor. Bell Media said in a statement Friday it “regrets” the way in which LaFlamme’s departure was handled, as it “may have left viewers with the wrong impression” that her storied career wasn’t valued. On Monday, LaFlamme released a video statement saying she was “blindsided” after finding out in June that Bell Media was ending her contract at CTV National News. She said she kept the news under wraps until the details were finalized. The dismissal, which Bell described as a “business decision,” raised questions among media observers about whether sexism and ageism played a role in the shakeup. Bell Media said Friday it takes allegations of discrimination “very seriously” and is moving forward with a third-party internal workplace review in the newsroom over the coming weeks.
