Bombers prepare for major changes after playing out season tied for worst

WINNIPEG – The Winnipeg Blue Bombers cleared out their lockers Sunday after wrapping up one of the team’s worst seasons ever with a crushing 37-7 at-home loss.

Their 3-15 finish ties for the worst since the CFL went to 18 games.

The team’s general manager and president have already paid with their jobs.

Coach Tim Burke doesn’t know what his future will hold.

Veteran offensive lineman Glenn January says sometimes it takes a season like this to force major change.

And he says it’s an opportune time, with the Ottawa dispersal draft forcing change throughout the league.
