TRU alum to share stories from the field

On Thursday January 18th, there will be a night of inspiring stories at Thompson Rivers University.

Just One Person: Healthcare in Disaster and Conflict Zones will be hosted by TRU alumnus Patrice Gordon. She will be sharing various stories from her fieldwork.

Gordon has recently returned from helping people find shelter in Bangladesh, helping treat patients suffering from Ebola in Sierra Leone and saved lives after the Nepal earthquake.

The event will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at The Barber Centre at TRU. Refreshments will be provided.

The event is free to attend, and register by clicking the link. Additionally for those who cannot attend in person, a livestream will take place.
