MONTREAL – The Montreal Impact have yet to decide whether fiery coach Marco Schallibaum will return next season.
Team president Joey Saputo said Tuesday that management is still evaluating the first year coach’s work.
However, he denied a report that defender Alessandro Nesta will coach the MLS squad. He said there have been no talks with the Italian defence great, who retired at the end of the season.
The Impact (14-3-7) barely made the playoffs in their second MLS campaign after a late season collapse.
Schallibaum is to speak to the media on Wednesday.
