Edmonton senior hit by her stolen car in McDonald’s drive-thru, sent to hospital
EDMONTON – Edmonton police are investigating after an 81-year-old woman was hit by her stolen car in a fast food drive-thru.
Police say the senior noticed her Nissan Sentra was missing early this morning.
A few minutes later, she spotted the car in a McDonald’s drive-thru and started walking toward the vehicle.
Police say the car hit the woman as it left the restaurant.
She was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Officers found the car about an hour later, but there was no sign of the driver.
