Police looking to identify Vernon Home Depot theft suspect

The hunt is on for a man suspected of stealing $400 in cash and merchandise from a Vernon building supply store over a week ago.

Investigators released photos of the suspect today, May 7, making his way through the checkout at Home Depot in the 5500 block of Anderson Way in Vernon on Monday, April 29, carrying what appears to be a two-by-four.

RCMP do not say in a media release what merchandise was stolen.

RCMP describe the theft suspect as a Caucasian male with a long, brown braided beard with tattoos on his arms and neck.

If you recognize the suspect, or have information that may assist with the investigation, contact the Vernon North Okanagan RCMP at 250-545-7171 and quote file #2024-6482.
