More than 2,700 customers without power in and around Peachland

There are 2,719 BC Hydro customers without power in and around Peachland.

The power outage started at 11:25 a.m. today, May 16, and is impacting customers south of Elliot Road, east of Princeton Avenue, west of Highway 97 and north of Shingle Creek, according to BC Hydro’s website.

The cause of the outage is under investigation and a repair crew has been assigned.

At the moment Shaw has not listed a communications outage in the area on their site.
