iN VIDEO: Man on e-scooter spits on BC drive-thru worker

Mounties in Coquitlam are seeking to identify a man who was seen spitting on a drive-thru worker. 

Police say in a media release the spitting incident took place on May 1 at a McDonald’s.

The suspect spat at an employee through the drive-thru window after being told that he couldn't order food on an electric scooter.

Cpl. Alexa Hodgins says in the release they take reports of workplace violence seriously as everyone deserves to feel safe at work. 

The suspect is described as a man between the ages of 30 and 40 with a slim build and a short dark beard.
