Snow expected on Coquihalla Summit tonight and tomorrow

Heads up drivers, Environment Canada is forecasts snow on both the Coquihalla Summit and Allison Pass on Highway 3 tonight and tomorrow morning.

An upper trough of low pressure will bring a cool airmass into the Southern Interior tonight, May 28, dropping snow levels below the passes overnight.

Light snowfall can be expected through until Wednesday morning, according to a special weather statement.

The weather office warns the trace amount of snow will reduce visibility.
