UPDATE: Man wanted for smearing human feces on vehicle turns himself in

KAMLOOPS – A man who allegedly smeared human feces on a woman's car while parked at Royal Inland Hospital has turned himself in.

Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says he turned himself in today, Jan. 11, and was released with a future court date. Police are recommending charges of mischief.

Shelkie says for privacy reasons, she's not allowed to disclose his reasons for allegedly doing this.

Kamloops and District Crime Stoppers posted on Facebook yesterday, looking for the publics’ assistance in identifying the man in the photo.

The suspect was observed at 8:35 a.m. on Jan 2. on surveillance video approaching the vehicle and allegedly smearing feces on it. After, he proceeded to Royal Inland Hospital where he entered the elevator.

The vehicle was parked on the third level of the hospital parkade located at 311 Columbia Street.
