Dense fog making driving conditions dangerous on Coquihalla today

Drivers are being warned about fog on the Coquihalla Highway that is so dense it is dropping visibility to nearly zero at times.

Environment Canada issued a fog advisory for the Coquihalla Highway between Kamloops and Merritt at around 11 a.m. today, Jan. 14, due to the heavy fog.

Forecasters say visibility at times can drop to nearly zero over parts of the highway.

The fog is expected to persist until late afternoon, the advisory says.
