iN PHOTOS: Thousands came out for Kelowna’s Pride Festival

Thousands of people swarmed downtown Kelowna to march and celebrate pride.

Today was Kelowna’s Pride Festival and it was filled with food, fun, and live entertainment.

The day started with a march beginning at Stuart Park at 10 a.m. and ended with a festival in City Park from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The festival topped off a week of events celebrating the LGBTQ2AI+ community, but there is still more to come for the rest of pride month.

Tomorrow there are going to be at least three events; the pride worship, 50 plus pride picnic, and a drag brunch.
