2 varieties of Bella Tavola pastas recalled because of undeclared milk
OTTAWA – Canada’s food-safety regulator has announced the recall of two varieties of Bella Tavolabrand pastas because they contain milk which is not declared on the label.
The recalled products are Bella Tavola Meat Tortellini and Bella Tavola Meat Ravioli, sold in 454-gram packages at Loblaw stores countrywide.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency said the recall was triggered by a consumer complaint.
But no illnesses have been reported so far.
The agency and Loblaw are conducting a food safety investigation, which the CFIA says may lead to the recall of other products.
