Police say arrest made in death of New Brunswick businessman Richard Oland

SAINT JOHN, N.B. – Police in Saint John N.B. say they have arrested the 45-year-old son of Richard Oland in connection with the businessman’s murder in July, 2011.

Police say Dennis Oland will be appearing in a Saint John court on Wednesday.

They say Oland was arrested Tuesday, but released no other details.

Police say they will hold a news conference at 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Richard Oland’s body was found in his Saint John office on July 7, 2011.

He was a member of the family that owns Moosehead Breweries Ltd., but left the company in the 1980s.
