West Virginia Humanities Council offering grants up to $1.5K

CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The West Virginia Humanities Council is offering mini-grants of $1,500 or less to support projects like small museum exhibits or lectures.

The council announced last week that they were seeking proposals from non-profit organizations for its mini-grant deadline. Nonprofits have until Oct. 1 to submit a proposal for the grant.

The council offers mini-grants four times per year to support educational programming in the humanities.

Some other projects the grant has funded include single events, brochures, consultation needs and planning for more complex projects.

Grant guidelines and applications are available online .
