KETCHIKAN, Alaska – Sailings of the Alaska state ferry Malaspina have been cancelled for repairs, starting April 29.
The Ketchikan Daily News reports the ferry will be sidelined for repairs to the vessel’s bow thruster.
The ferry is expected to be back in service May 6 with a run from Ketchikan to British Columbia’s Prince Rupert.
The Alaska Marine Highway System says it is notifying affected passengers, rebooking them or refunding them.
