KAMLOOPS – RCMP are recommending multiple charges after one man forced another into a home with the use of weapons earlier today.
Police responded to reports at a residence on Shuswap Road where one man allegedly had a knife and club and forced another man into the residence.
A 40-year-old man was taken into police custody while the 58-year-old victim was cleared by emergency crews on the scene and released with minor injuries.
Police want to ease the minds of the public in saying the two men knew each other and the altercation occurred at the suspect's residence.
Police continue to investigate and are recommending charges of unlawful confinement, uttering threats and assault with a weapon.
