Hedley was the main attraction at halftime of the game between the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
The band, from Abbotsford, B.C., was clearly into the gig. They tweeted a picture of themselves wearing CFL jerseys just ahead of kickoff.
Serena Ryder, a native of Millbrook, Ont., who now makes her home in Toronto, was given national anthem duties.
Justin Bieber, Carly Rae Jepsen, Marianas Trench, and Gordon Lightfoot performed at last year’s Grey Cup halftime show in Toronto, where the hometown Argonauts defeated the Calgary Stampeders.
