Motorcyclist seriously injured in Princeton crash

A crash between a motorcycle and a commercial vehicle in Princeton on Monday sent the rider to hospital with serious injuries.

Princeton RCMP and BC Highway Patrol members were called to the crash in the intersection of Highway 5A and Princeton Summerland Road at around 1:22 p.m., June 24, according to an RCMP media release.

The person riding the motorcycle was seriously injured and taken to hospital while the driver of the commercial vehicle wasn’t hurt and is cooperating with police.

The cause of the crash is under investigation and no charges have been laid.

Anyone who was travelling in the area or witnessed the collision is asked to contact Princeton RCMP at 250-295-6911.
