Crews contain West Kelowna house fire to garage

An early morning house fire in West Kelowna was contained to the attached garage.

Firefighters were called to the house fire on Galloway Road at around 4 a.m. today, July 17, according to a West Kelowna Fire Rescue media release.

Crews arrived to fine the contents of the attached garage burning and quickly extinguished the blaze. The suffered smoke damage.

The three people in the home made it out safely and are in the care of Emergency Social Services. No one was hurt.

The cause of the fire has been deemed accidental.
