Six people injured in rollover on Highway 5 north of Kamloops

Six people were injured when the vehicle they were in rolled on the Yellowhead Highway just north of the Tournament Capital Ranch near Kamloops this morning.

Emergency crews were called to a single-vehicle crash at approximately 9:48 a.m. today, July 23, on Highway 5 North at Old Highway 5.

The vehicle had left the road, hit a light pole and rolled over. Firefighters extricated at least two people in the vehicle.

All six people had non-life-threatening injuries, RCMP said.

No word from RCMP on the cause of the crash.
