RCMP ask for help to find missing Kamloops woman

RCMP are requesting the public’s help in locating a missing 35-year-old Kamloops woman.

Marika Viens was last seen on July 15 near Bert Edwards school in Kamloops, according to an RCMP media release. She was reported missing on July 22.

Police are concerned for her wellbeing.

RCMP have reason to believe Viens may be avoiding officers as she is wanted on an endorsed warrant for assault related to an investigation in Barriere.

RCMP describe Viens as a 35-year-old female, 5’4” tall, 110 lb. with long blond hair and green eyes.

Anyone with information about the missing person’s whereabouts is asked to contact Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2024-23448.
