Man charged with manslaughter after June death of woman in Surrey, B.C.
SURREY, B.C. – A charge of manslaughter has now been laid following the death of a woman in Surrey, B.C.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team says a 47-year-old man was arrested Aug. 7.
Documents show he is expected to make his next appearance in provincial court in Surrey on Sept. 10.
He was charged after 40-year-old Karlee Dixon was found unconscious at a Surrey home on June 2.
She died later in hospital.
A statement from the homicide team says police questioned the man at the time Dixon was found but no further details will be released.
