Looking for a forever home; Kamloops SPCA pet of the week

KAMLOOPS – Zeus was surrendered to the Kamloops SPCA when his guardian was moving and could not take him.

He is an affectionate 10-year-old cat who loves attention, according to animal attendant Lyndsay Stewart from the SPCA.

Zeus has lived with kids, dogs and cats and is reportedly “pretty calm” but can be shy and nervous in unfamiliar places.

Slow, proper introductions to other pets will be important, and he allegedly gets along better with calmer animal companions. He will also be content to be the only pet in the household.

Zeus is overweight and needs a guardian who will help him get back into shape with a proper diet, and he may need some assistance grooming.

Due to Zeus’ weight and age Stewart recommends future guardians should keep up with regular vet care.

For more information about Zeus contact the staff at the Kamloops SPCA. His animal ID number is 454591.

Visit the shelter's webpage for more information such as location, adoption fees and hours of operation.
