Police raise death toll in police helicopter crash in Scotland to 9; may rise still more

LONDON – Police have raised the death toll to nine in the police helicopter crash at a pub in Scotland.

Officials said Monday that another body had been found in the wreckage of The Clutha pub in Glasgow, where the helicopter crashed on Friday night.

Police have warned that more bodies may be discovered as the destroyed helicopter is removed from the riverside pub.

Emergency teams have been shoring up the building and trying to remove the helicopter away.

There are fears the building could collapse on the emergency teams.

The three people on board the helicopter are among the dead.
