Suspended senator Patrick Brazeau lands new gig as Parliament Hill reporter

OTTAWA – It didn’t take Patrick Brazeau long to find a new job.

The suspended senator has apparently found work as a freelance journalist for Halifax’s Frank Magazine.

Managing editor Andrew Douglas confirmed the news on the publication’s website.

Douglas says Brazeau, who has no prior experience in journalism, will be a “pain in the arse” to his former Senate colleagues.

Brazeau is scheduled to drop off his application for membership with the parliamentary press gallery later today.

He has been openly soliciting work on Twitter after he and fellow senators Mike Duffy and Pamela Wallin were suspended in early November over their questionable expense claims.
