Zappos Couture names Andre Leon Talley as its artistic director

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Zappos’ luxury arm is tapping Andre Leon Talley to serve as its artistic director.

Zappos Couture, which sells high-end footwear, clothing, handbags and other items, said Monday that Talley will help to create digital and editorial content and consult on new brands.

Talley is the former editor-at-large for Vogue magazine. He is currently international editor-at-large for Russia’s Numero magazine.

Seattle-based Amazon.com Inc. is the parent company of Zappos.com.
