A Kamloops man says he’s still in shock after winning $500,000 on a recent Lotto 6/49 draw.
Noel Park matched the extra numbers on the Lotto 6/49 draw Aug. 28, according to a BC Lottery Corporation media release.
Even after checking his ticket he couldn’t believe it. When he shared the news with his best friend she didn’t believe it either.
“It still doesn’t seem real somehow… maybe it will hit me later and I will pass out,” Park said in the release.
He plans to buy a new truck and help out his kids with the winnings, and will retire in the near future.
The winning ticket was purchased at the Canco gas station on Tranquille Road in Kamloops.
