Ford Canada names Mark Buzzell as new president and chief executive

OAKVILLE, Ont. – Ford Motor Company of Canada Ltd. says Mark Buzzell will take over as its president and CEO at the start of next year, replacing Dianne Craig.

Buzzell is currently Ford’s general manager for the western market area in the United States.

Craig, who has been in Ford’s top job in Canada for five years, will become U.S. director of sales for Ford Motor Co.

Ford recently negotiated a new contract with its Canadian workers.

Unifor, which represents some 6,700 workers at the automaker, says Ford has promised to invest $713 million in its Canadian operations.
