Spartan Energy Corp. (TSX:SPE). Oil and gas. Down six cents, or 1.91 per cent, to $3.08 on 10.1 million shares. Spartan Energy announced it will spend $700 million to buy southeastern Saskatchewan assets from ARC Resources (TSX:ARX) (up 14 cents, or 0.60 per cent, to $23.46 on 715,295 shares). The deal between the two Calgary-based companies involves wells producing 7,500 barrels of oil equivalent per day and related oil batteries and gathering pipelines, Spartan said.
Canopy Growth Corp. (TSX:CGC). Drug manufacturer. Down 46 cents, or 3.52 per cent, to $12.60 on 8.9 million shares.
B2Gold Corp. (TSX:BTO). Miner. Down four cents, or 1.23 per cent, to $3.22 on 8.4 million shares.
Encana Corp. (TSX:ECA). Oil and gas. Up 47 cents, or 3.07 per cent, to $15.78 on 6.4 million shares.
Yamana Gold Inc. (TSX:YRI). Miner. Down five cents, or 1.20 per cent, to $4.10 on 5.6 million shares.
Kinross Gold Corp. (TSX:K). Miner. Down 21 cents, or 4.38 per cent, to $4.58 on 5.2 million shares.
