Edmonton Oilers sign forward Jasper Weatherby to professional tryout

EDMONTON — The Edmonton Oilers have signed forward Jasper Weatherby to a professional tryout, the NHL team announced Thursday.

The 26-year-old from Portland, Ore., had 12 goals and 13 assists in 66 games for the American Hockey League’s Milwaukee Admirals last season.
