
Computer server fire damages Kelowna commercial building
KELOWNA – A fire in a computer server room this morning left a Kelowna commercial building with some structural damage.
Firefighters were called to the building in the 1700 block of Harvey Avenue at around 6 a.m. today, March 13.
A fire in a second floor computer server room had spread into the rest of the floor and the ceiling, according to a Kelowna Fire Department media release.
While crews quickly put out the blaze, the building sustained structural, smoke and water damage.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
