Supergroup Celtic Thunder making Okanagan stop
PENTICTON – Celtic Thunder are hitting the road in the fall to support their latest album Celtic Thunder X and the Canadian leg of the tour includes a stop in Penticton in November.
The release of the new Celtic Thunder X double CD and DVD earlier this month marked the Irish supergroup’s 10th anniversary.
Singers Damian McGinty, Ryan Kelly, Michael O’Dwyer, Emmet Cahill and Neil Byrne will be performing classic and new material from the album at the South Okanagan Events Centre in Penticton on Thursday, Nov. 10, according to a media release.
The multi-platinum recording artists currently have a TV special airing on PBS and have sold over 3.4 million albums, performed almost 1,000 shows and sold over a million tickets, the release says.
Tickets, which will set you back $58.50 and $78.50 plus service charges, go on sale Thursday, March 29. You can order tickets online here.
