New Millennium Iron names new chief executive, to be based in St. John’s, NL

CALGARY – New Millennium Iron Corp. (TSX:NML) says it will have a new president and chief executive when Robert Patzelt joins the company on Jan 13.

He will be based at the mining company’s office in St. John’s, NL.

Patzelt has been senior vice-president for corporate development at Halifax-based Scotia Investments Ltd., a private holding company involved in the manufacturing and natural resources sectors.

Dean Journeaux, NMI’s current president and CEO, will remain on the board and be appointed its executive vice-chairman.

New Millennium controls a major iron ore deposit near the Labrador-Quebec border.
