Firearm seized, 19-year-old arrested after alleged assault in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS – A 19-year-old man has been arrested after an alleged assault in Kamloops yesterday.

Police say members responded to the Petro-Pass on Versatile Drive after reports of a man with a firearm yesterday, March 26.

A 19-year-old man was arrested who police say was involved in an assault earlier in the afternoon. The firearm was recovered at a nearby location.

It does not appear charges have been laid in connection to the incident, according to online court documents.
