Hundreds of holiday hams worth $10k pinched from truck in London, Ont.

LONDON, Ont. – Some thieves will be pigging out this holiday season after several hundred hams were stolen in London, Ont.

The Honey-Bee Ham Co. says the huge haul of meat was pinched from a refrigeration truck Friday night.

The total cost of the stolen ham is estimated at more than $10,000.

But the company says it’s continuing to take orders and that those with existing purchases will still go home with their ham in time for the holidays.

And it’s not worried the thieves will be able to crack its 30-year-old honey glazed ham recipe, as the stolen meat was unfinished. (AM980)
