
Kamloops man arrested for smashing vehicle into Bed Bath and Beyond
KAMLOOPS – A man has been arrested for an alleged trying to break into the Bed Bath and Beyond in Sahali yesterday with a vehicle.
Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says in a news release the suspect is a 53-year-old Kamloops man previously known to police.
Shelkie says investigative information will be forwarded to the B.C. Prosecution Service to determine any possible criminal charges.
Officers responded to a commercial alarm at the Bed Bath and Beyond store yesterday morning, March 27, at approximately 5:20 a.m.
The front doors to the business were damaged when a vehicle drove through them, but no entry was gained through a second set of doors, police said.
