QUEENSBURY, N.Y. – A new welcome centre for the Adirondack region has opened on the Northway.
The Adirondacks Welcome Center rest area opened in Queensbury with information for tourists headed to the High Peaks, Lake Placid, Lake George and other regional attractions.
The welcome centre is located on the northbound side of Interstate-87, just north of the Saratoga County line between the Hudson River and Exit 18.
It houses interactive kiosks highlighting regional attractions.
