VANCOUVER – Crews searching for a British tourist missing in B.C. have posted online videos of mountains in North Vancouver, hoping the public may spot anything that could hint at Tom Billings’ whereabouts.
Members of North Shore Rescue shot aerial footage of North Vancouver’s Grouse Mountain on Thursday with funding from Billings’ family and help from the Discovery Network.
Searchers say they hope the public can look through the online videos and photos and notify them of any anomalies.
Crews had planned for another aerial search Friday, but the operation was called off due to weather conditions.
Billings was last seen in Vancouver on Nov. 25 before heading to the North Shore mountains for a hike.
The 22-year-old was supposed to return to the U.K. after wrapping up his North America vacation tour on Dec. 7 in New York, but he never made it.
The online videos and photos can be found on: http://www.northshorerescue.com.
