Canadian Alexis Davis to fight Jessica (Evil) Eye at UFC 170 in February
TORONTO – Canadian Alexis Davis will take on Jessica (Evil) Eye at UFC 170 in February.
The main event Feb. 22 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas features bantamweight champion (Rowdy) Ronda Rousey against No. 4 Sara McMann in a battle of unbeaten fighters.
Davis, a native of Port Colbourne, Ont., who trains out of San Diego, is ranked No. 3 among women’s 135-pounders. Eye (11-1) moved up to No. 5 after beating Victoria’s Sarah Kaufman at UFC 166 in October.
Davis (15-5) is coming off UFC wins over Liz Carmouche and Rosi Sexton.
