Farm fresh culinary market coming to Kelowna this summer

KELOWNA – Developers say a new mixed-used dining and farm fresh culinary market will be up and running near Landmark this summer.

The District Market will be located off Harvey Avenue and will house six new retail tenants, according to a media release from the developer, Al Stober Construction.

Rather than construct a new building, architects have transformed the former Turner VW building.

“It was an intentional decision to re-purpose the existing building in order give the area a more small-scale pedestrian friendly experience,” the release says.

The District Market is currently 50 per cent leased.
