Snowfall warning ended for South Okanagan

A snowfall warning for the South Okanagan region including Penticton has ended.

Jan. 7, 2013 – 10:09 a.m.

A snowfall warning has been issued by Environment Canada for the South Okanagan including Penticton.

An accumulation of 10-15 cm is expected today but should begin to taper off later this afternoon. 

More snow is expected tomorrow with accumulations of 5-10 cm and 30 km/h winds with gusts of up to 50 km/h.

Wednesday will bring showers followed by freezing temperatures on Thursday and throughout the rest of the week.
