VERNON – The Vernon Vipers are home to the Merritt Centennials Saturday night in BCHL action.
It's the third of six meetings between the Vipers (7-5-0-1) and the Cents (9-6-0-0) this season.
The defending Interior Division Conference Champion Vipers are coming off a 1-0 loss in Penticton Saturday host the Centennials for a second time within a week. The Vipers defeated the Centennials 4-2 last weekend will meet again in Vernon on the Nov. 26.
Vernon sits fifth place in the Interior Division one point back of the Trail Smoke Eaters and three behind Merritt and the West Kelowna Warriors.
Liam Finlay will make his Viper debut Saturday night after coming over in a trade with the Penticton Vees on Tuesday.
November will be a busy month for Vernon. The team plays five games in the next nine days.
Thomas Aldworth (8-3-11) leads the Vipers in goals with eight while Aldworth and Anthony Latina (6-5-11) share the team lead the in points with eleven each.
