West Kelowna park washrooms shuttered for winter

WEST KELOWNA – With frost about to set in, the District of West Kelowna is in the process of winterizing pipes and shutting down most of its outdoor public washrooms.

By October 31 all outdoor municipal washrooms will have been closed, with the exception of the heated Willow Beach facilities.

The Willow Beach washrooms will remain open to accommodate the numerous, year-round users of the Gellatly Bay lakefront trail.

Parks washrooms in West Kelowna typically reopen the first week of April.
