Looking for a forever home; Kamloops SPCA pet of the week

KAMLOOPS – This week’s Pet of the Week from Kamloops SPCA is a Saint Bernard named Rosa.

A media release describes Rosa as a friendly and sociable dog who is eager to please.

She has a lot of energy so needs lots of exercise.

Rosa already knows some basic commands such as, “sit”.

When she is on leash she pulls strongly so would benefit from going to obedience classes.

She does not appear to be well socialized to other dogs as she can be quite reactive. Rosa also appears to have a prey-drive so would not do well with other small animals such as cats.

This dog likes to be with people and may get anxious when she is left alone. She will need to get used to spending time alone slowly a few minutes at a time.

For more information about Rosa contact the staff at the Kamloops SPCA. Her animal ID number is 458058.

Visit the shelter's webpage for more information such as location, adoption fees and hours of operation.
