Police say two men arrested, two hospitalized after violence at Vancouver home

VANCOUVER – Police in Vancouver say two men have been arrested and two others were in hospital following a violent incident at a home on the east side of the city.

Const. Brian Montague says the people in custody are “persons of interest.”

Montague says the emergency response team, negotiators and officers with dogs responded to a call on Friday morning.

He says the home has been turned over to detectives, who are trying to gather more information about what happened.

Investigators say they received reports of a fight, shots fired and men with knives.

Police have not released details about the injuries suffered by the men who were in hospital. (The Canadian Press, Roundhouse Radio)
