Last day to voice opinion on Ajax mine

KAMLOOPS – A week long survey being conducted by the Kamloops Voters Society on the prosposed Ajax mine comes to a close Monday.

The society wants to know how you feel on a broad range of topics surrounding the mine.

The organizers have made it clear they don’t support the mine, nor do they oppose it. They’ve prepared 20 questions they feel are as neutral as possible.

“This is an important decision, no matter which way it goes,” society president Brad Harrison said of the proposed mine in an interview with InfoTel News last week. “This could be the most important decision we make as a generation.”

If you’re interested in filling out the survey of 20 questions, just go to the society’s website.

The survey closes Monday, Oct. 14, with the results to be released at the Kamloops Voters Society annual general meeting on Sunday, Oct. 20. They’ll be released to the public the next day.
