VIDEO: Thief steals packages from Kelowna front door
KELOWNA – A front door security camera caught an unknown man stealing two packages from a Glenmore couple in broad daylight yesterday.
Lorrie Fitzpatrick-Bialecki and her husband Dan were expecting the packages to be delivered this week but when they reviewed footage from a camera they keep mounted outside their door, they saw the reason the packages were late.
The morning of Wednesday, May 9, a man wearing jean shorts, a black hoodie and backwards baseball hat casually steps into frame and begins inspecting the labels on two boxes.
After a few seconds, he piles one on the other and carries them away.
The couple are hopeful someone can help them find the thief, and have posted the footage to social media.
“Anybody in Kelowna know this guy? He stole 2 packages from our house this morning in the lower Glenmore area,” Lorrie writes.
Cpl. Jesse O'Donaghey says RCMP received a report of an alleged parcel theft from the doorstep of a residence located in the 1200 block of Centennial Crescent in Kelowna.
Police are investigating and ask anyone with information to contact the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300 and cite file number 2018-24345.
