CP NewsAlert: Houston Texans select Canadian receiver Metchie III in NFL draft
LAS VEGAS – Alabama receiver John Metchie III was the first Canadian selected in the 2022 NFL draft.
Metchie III, of Brampton, Ont., was taken by the Houston Texans in the second round, No. 44 overall, Friday night.
